.easter.

we usually like to have fun around here when it comes to holidays.  we go all out.  this easter sunday was no exception.  we had the yummiest meal made by my mama, cupcakes by yours truly, with one made without grass {shredded coconut} for my sweet benjamin. :)

.later in the afternoon, emma started the hunt for eggs, accompanied by grandpa of course.

.we ended the night with our traditional egg painting party. 

some of the family were fast asleep by this point, but those that joined in had fun nonetheless.  i love any excuse for a family gathering.  we had lots and lot of fun!  i'm already planning the next holiday when we can do this again.
