.mine.

i share everything i have.  honestly.  i share my food.  i share my car.  i share my bed - which i'm not complaining about... :)  i share my blanket, i share my shampoo. i share my time. i share my energy. i even share my clothes with my sisters!  even emma is not entirely mine..which is great because i love that she has so many people to love on her.  the point is i don't really have anything to myself.  anything, that is, except him.  he is mine....he is all mine.

i love my husband so much.  more than i can ever describe.  he makes me feel like a queen every. single. day.   his dad taught him well.  i don't know what i did to have him.  i certainly don't deserve him.  but he chose me.  he loves me.  and i'm crazy about him...

i don't say that enough.  he really is the best husband and father i have ever seen.  he leads and guides our daughter with gentleness and in loving ways.  i have never heard him raise his voice to emma.  ever.  and he guides and counsels me with everything i deal with daily.  i honestly don't know what i'd do without him. 

 

he works soo hard at everything he does and deals with each trial our family faces like a champ.  there isn't anything he can't face with a smile and a positive attitude, and that's something i will always admire in him.

he's funny.  he's smart.  he's inspired.  he's led.   he's hott.  he's friendly.  he's kind.  he's helpful.  he's shexy.  he's sweet.  he's thoughtful.  he's loving.  he's perfect.

.easter.

we usually like to have fun around here when it comes to holidays.  we go all out.  this easter sunday was no exception.  we had the yummiest meal made by my mama, cupcakes by yours truly, with one made without grass {shredded coconut} for my sweet benjamin. :)

some of the family were fast asleep by this point, but those that joined in had fun nonetheless.  i love any excuse for a family gathering.  we had lots and lot of fun!  i'm already planning the next holiday when we can do this again.

we love it when good friends come over to hang out, especially matt and chantal stewart.  they are seriously so much fun.  jamison and i always have a blast when we get together with them. 
friday was no different.  they came over for dinner, and emma was immediately hooked to matt as soon as they arrived.  she wouldn't let him leave her side.  she didn't even want dinner, though she ate at mommy's request with much reluctance.  she just could not get enough of him.  poor guy!
there were a couple of times that matt tricked emma into taking chantal to play with her in the living room.  emma would play for a bit, and then call for matt to play with her again.  SO funny.
we caught this cute little video of her with their little game.  he was such a trooper...good future daddy practice. ha.

 after emma finally went down to sleep the stewarts and pruitts ended the night with a little ice cream and wreck-it ralph.  lotsss of fun.  love them.  we had such a fun night!
we even did a mini follow-up date night tonight for the Zion's Youth concert at the smith center - always so good!   can't wait for our next date night with them!

.vday prep.

around mid-january i found a cute deal online to make some Valentines day decor.  i've been wanting to have a fun craft night with Tiff and Ash, and I thought this would be a fun activity for us to do, so i got enough for each of us to have our own set.  the girls came over the first weekend of february and we had a great time playing with Emma and painting.  we had way too much fun and spent around 4 hours just having a great time. hopefully we start doing this more often.  miss them.

tiffany's birthday was the 6th of this month, but since it was in the middle of the week everyone had different schedules - including the birthday girl - so we waited to celebrate on sunday the 10th.  she's 21!  i still can't believe that.  here are some pictures to commemorate her special day.
